Train for your time.

A free training plan, 5K to marathon, that tells you straight whether your goal time is on, and shows why. Your prediction updates with every week you log.

Log by hand in 30 seconds, or sync your runs. Compatible with Strava.

Watch your prediction move.

Most plans hand you a schedule and hope. RacePacer plots your predicted finish against your goal, week by week, with a range and a confidence level, so you always know whether you're on track, behind, or off the pace, and what to do about it.

Built on what you actually ran.

A 30-second check-in tells RacePacer how your week went. Sync your runs (read-only) and it also sees the distance, the pace, and the pace of the fast reps inside your intervals. Your prediction is built on what you actually ran.

Adapts every week
Check in weekly and preview suggested changes before anything moves. Apply what fits, skip what doesn’t, and lock the sessions you’re keeping.
Honest about your time
A finish time computed from your real efforts with published race-equivalency maths, shown as a range with a confidence level, with a straight answer on whether you’re on track.

A plan that bends without breaking.

Tell it what happened (a niggle, a holiday, a breakthrough) and preview exactly what it wants to change before anything does. Apply it week by week, lock the sessions that aren't up for discussion, and roll back any version. The AI proposes. You decide.

Are you a coach?

Set one plan. RacePacer paces it to every runner.

Coach mode is built in. Set a session once and RacePacer re-paces the speed work to each runner's personal bests automatically, while easy days stay easy for everyone. A whole team trains off one plan, without you working out everyone's paces by hand.

We're bringing coaches into the beta in their own wave and building the coach tools around them. Join the coach waitlist and we'll get you in early.

No spam, just your invite when your wave opens.

Why trust the number

Your finish-time prediction isn't AI guesswork. It starts from your real efforts (your races, your benchmarks, and any synced runs down to the fast reps inside your intervals) and applies published race-equivalency maths, restated as a range with a confidence level every week. For the marathon we correct for the known tendency of short-race speed to predict too fast, using your training volume. The summary is written by AI, but the number is computed, and we show our working. When the data is thin, it says so.

Why I built it

I started building RacePacer after one too many training plans that told me what to run, but never whether it would actually get me to my goal time. I wanted something built around my own numbers. My times, my target, the way I train week to week. And I wanted it to adapt when real life got in the way, backing off for a niggle or a flat week, and letting me push when fitness came good.

As you log each week, the plan updates and shows you honestly where you stand against your goal, so race day holds no surprises.

It's early days, and your feedback shapes what comes next. To be clear though: RacePacer is a training tool, not a replacement for a coach, physio, or doctor. If something hurts, trust your body over the plan.

Questions

Do you connect to Strava, Garmin or Apple Health?

Strava, yes, and it’s read-only. RacePacer pulls your runs’ distance and paces (including lap-level work paces from interval sessions) to power your week and your prediction. You always review before a week is saved. No Strava is fine too: your prediction then comes from your benchmark times and weekly check-ins, just a wider range and lower confidence until you log efforts closer to race day. Garmin and Apple Health are on the roadmap.

Will the AI change my plan without asking?

Never. Changes are previewed as a diff first, so you apply them week by week or skip them, you can lock sessions against edits entirely, and every change saves a version you can restore.

How does the prediction work?

We do not guess. We use established race-equivalency maths to turn your real efforts (your races, your benchmarks, and any synced runs down to the work paces inside your intervals) into a time at your race distance. We blend them rather than lean on one, so it sharpens as you log more, and we show a range that widens when we are extrapolating far, like a marathon from a 5K. For the marathon we also weigh your training volume and longest run, because short-race speed alone tends to predict a marathon 10 to 20 minutes too fast. The summary is written by AI, but the number is calculated, not invented, and you can see exactly which efforts went in. Sometimes the honest answer is still "not yet".

Which races does it cover?

Everything from a 5K to a marathon, plus the 10Ks and halves in between.

Is it free?

Yes, free during the private beta, and no card is needed. Further up the page you can see the founding-launch prices we are planning, and reserve the tier you would want so you lock a founding-member rate when paid plans go live. That is a reservation, not a charge, and we will never bill you without asking first. There will always be a free tier.

Is my data safe?

Your training data is stored in the EU, never sold, and you can export any plan or delete your account whenever you want.

Is this a coach, or medical advice?

No. RacePacer is a planning tool, not a substitute for a qualified coach, physio, or doctor. Train within your limits.
